Why Room Isolation Matters.
A residential network might contain only one or two televisions. A hotel can contain dozens or hundreds of rooms, each with its own casting device and a constantly changing population of guests.
Without appropriate controls, casting devices on a shared hotel network can create confusing device lists and increase the possibility of a guest attempting to connect or cast to the wrong room.
InterJump is designed to create a controlled relationship between the guest device, guest session, hotel room and casting endpoint. A guest associated with Room 302 should be able to discover and cast to the television in Room 302 — without being presented with casting devices belonging to neighbouring rooms.
This approach improves both privacy and usability. The guest sees the casting destination that matters to them, while other room casting environments remain separated.

Guest Sessions Are Temporary.
Guest access to a room casting environment should not remain active indefinitely. InterJump creates guest-to-room casting associations for a defined period, helping ensure that access remains relevant to the guest's stay.
When a casting session expires, the association between the guest device and that room is removed. This helps prepare the casting environment for future guests and prevents old room associations from remaining unnecessarily active.

Your Streaming Accounts Stay on Your Device.
InterJump is designed so guests can use compatible streaming applications from their own smartphone or tablet rather than entering personal streaming usernames and passwords directly into the hotel television.
The guest remains in control of their own device and streaming accounts while casting compatible content to the room TV. This provides a familiar experience while reducing the need for personal account credentials to be entered into a shared hotel television.
